My wife and I had our brand new baby girl yesterday at 3:50 PM. She is absolutely perfect! If you don't believe in God after seeing everything I did yesterday, then something is really wrong. She was 6 pounds and 14 ounces, 19 inches long. We're still in the hospital as I speak with our little baby. She makes the sweetest little noises and looks up at you with her beautiful little eyes. We're so happy! We can't wait to take her home to meet the rest of the family, which happens to be our two dog… Continue

During this recovery week of 10 reps, I've started to gain more weight. I cranked the intensity down from the previous week and that's what happens! My body recovers and builds muscle. Each week I gain weight, I reach a new high in body weight.
At night, I weight a new maximum for me of about 233 pounds...maybe a little more. Don't ever mistake the feeling of being full with gaining fat. When you start eating more food, you'll start to feel fuller which may feel like your gut is getting bigger.… Continue
To all,
The past few weeks I've been feeling a little drained due to my allergies and sinus problems. Whenever I mow the grass, my allergies go crazy, my eyes swell up, etc. So, I lose lots of energy and feel pretty drained when this happens.
So, for my weight lifting, I'll workout one day and then take two days off consecutively for the week. So, I'll workout Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Then, if I feel better, I'll get back to my regular schedule. I'll continue the schedule if I'm still… Continue

Play List is a great site to find any songs you'd like to have. I was amazed after a friend called me this morning and told me to try it. You want mp3's? You got them there. Paste the url of the mp3 into your browser address and click save as once media player starts to play the song. There you go! Continue

This is my diet journal. I would like a comment from Josh on this to see what he thinks. Any other comments are welcome.
My current weight is 183 and my target weight is 172. I am about 19% bf. My goal is 13% bf.
At 183 my BMR is about 2004. I multiplied that by 1.55 because I live a pretty active life. Which gave me a caloric maintenance of 3107. Since my target weight is 172 my BMR was about 1936 i multiplied that by 1.55 and got 3001 and caloric maintenance. If I want to be a target weight… Continue

I gained about a 1/2 pound this past week. I am rasing the calorie target to 4000 calories this week. I've got some tough workouts at the 12 rep range coming up this week. I'll be going for some 12 rep records on some of my exercises this week. I'm behind on others due to my right hand being hurt for about a month now. It's still not back to normal, but it's getting close. Seems like it's taking forever to heal. Continue

I was aiming to gain a pound or two this week, but ended up losing one pound. That's fine, because I am on the rising up period and now know what I need to do for the upcoming week. I've increased my daily calories to 3700. I'm shooting to gain at least a pound for this upcoming week. We'll see what happens. Continue

I don't know every metal band or every song out there because I just got into metal not too long ago. Probably about 2 years ago. I look around every once in a while for new songs I haven't heard. I found this one today. I really love this song.

I will be working on the Weight Lifting Exercises section of the website this week and probably for the next few weeks. These pages take me a while due to taking pictures, uploading the pictures, and building the pages. In the past, a full day was needed just to build a page of exercises for one muscle group. And I thought I was going pretty fast. That's one reason why I use light weights in the exercise section.… Continue
